We are the Beggars Tour at St. John's

St. John's invites you to join us in welcoming the "We are the Beggars" tour to the Archdiocese of Washington on Thursday evening, September 15th beginning at 7pm. The tour features prominent Catholic recording artists Audrey Assad and the Ike Ndolo Band, with Adore Ministry’s speaker Ennie Hickman. The "We are the Beggars" tour spans the East Coast from Florida to Massachusetts. St. John's is the only stop along the coast between Richmond, VA and Long Island, NY. Don’t miss this opportunity!

If you attended the Youth Rally and Mass for Life at the Verizon Center in DC this past January, you’ll remember Ike Ndolo opening in front of 20,000 students with an exhilarating performance.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the concert page.

Parish to Decide Daily Mass Time

We are considering changing the starting time of daily Mass from 8 a.m. to 7 a.m. to allow more people the opportunity to attend.

There will be voting slips and pencils in the pews during the four Masses the weekend of Sept. 17 and 18 for you to select your preference. Since there won’t be a second collection that weekend, the ushers will collect the survey responses after Communion. The votes will be tallied and the results will be announced the following week.

Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose Program - Marian Devotion Prayer Service

Each year, a Silver Rose "honoring of Our Lady of Guadalupe and reaffirming our commitment to the sanctity of human life", is carried by Knights of Columbus from Canada, through the United States, and into Mexico to arrive at the Basilica in Monterrey, Mexico on December 12, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This year, St. John’s has been selected to host a Silver Rose Prayer Service, celebrated by Fr. Ray, on Tuesday, August 9th at 7:00pm. All are invited to attend this special service and ceremony.
